Payroll Manager - New York Hilton Midtown (Finance)

The New York Hilton Midtown is now hiring an experienced full-time Payroll Manager to join their team! This 1878-room property is opposite the Museum of Modern Art, surrounded by subway and bus lines. Rockefeller Center and Radio City Music Hall are two blocks away and it's a short walk from Central Park. Grand Central Station, Broadway, and Times Square are within a mile!

Requirements of a candidate hired into this position include previous payroll management experience and previous supervisory experience overseeing a union team! It would be considered an asset for this position to know the NYC Market Labor Law. This is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door to gain high-asset experience!

What will I be doing?
Administers and manages the hotel's payroll ensuring that federal, state, and local laws are complied with. Responsible for ensuring that all team members are paid for hours worked in a timely manner. Manages payroll staff. Oversees vacation accruals, team member deductions, and federal/state reporting. Assists the Director and Assistant Director of Finance in payroll forecasting based on actuals.

• Oversee payroll systems such that all team members in the hotel are paid for hours reported and applicable statutes and regulations are fully complied with.
• Oversee and properly administer all payroll records for all team members.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of payroll laws and regulations and advise department managers on all pertinent payroll information.
• Oversee and administer payroll deductions for group insurance, 401k, tax deposits, team member advances, and garnishments.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required.

The annual salary range for this role is $80 -90K and is based on experience.
