Job Summary:
Seeking a candidate with a basic understanding of Integrated Security Systems, including access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, intercom systems, and perimeter security. Must be able to analyze electrical and mechanical drawings, with a basic grasp of electrical installation practices and network infrastructure.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each primary duty satisfactorily.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair Integrated Security Systems wiring, hardware and software
• Diagnose communication problems with control devices and other components
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on installed Integrated Security Systems
• Create, load, test, and tune system databases
• Suggest system improvements, modifications, etc.
• Install, replace and re-commission Integrated Security Systems devices, equipment and software
• Perform commissioning and startup of new Integrated Security Systems to ensure proper operation
• Coordinate activities of subcontractors when necessary
• Request and deliver material as required
• Provide on-site training to customers as needed
• Provides emergency and warranty service as required.
• Create and maintain test records and as-built documentation
• Conform to project site safety and housekeeping requirements
• Coordinate and communicate activities with the customer
• Other duties may be assigned
