Role description:
Arcadis is seeking a Water Resilience Planning Consultant to join our Planning, Policy and Funding Team. This position will be focused on development of funding and financing strategies and grant applications for disaster recovery, mitigation, and climate adaptation through local, state and federally funded programs. The position could be remote, with possible limited on-site requirements. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in resiliency planning and funding across the country.
We are looking for dedicated, creative, and energetic candidate interested in tackling big challenges and developing sustainable and equitable solutions. You will drive the development of successful project and program scopes and budget, interact and work with clients, and identify opportunities to provide additional mitigation and resilience support to clients nationwide. You will also support other projects such as development of resilience and climate adaptation plans, review of proposed infrastructure projects, and overall program and grant management for public and private-sector clients.
The position is varied and requires experience and interest in the fields of hazard mitigation, community resilience planning, grantee and subrecipient engagement, resilience funding strategies, program and grant management, project development and funding, or civil engineering/urban planning with a focus on climate resilience.

Arcadis offers benefits for full time and part time positions. These benefits include medical, dental, and vision, EAP, 401K, STD, LTD, AD&D, life insurance, paid parental leave, reward & recognition program and optional benefits including wellbeing benefits, adoption assistance and tuition reimbursement. We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $52,000 - $78,000. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
