Program Coordinator (Finance)
Attention Applicant: Pathways to Teaching in Critical Areas of Need (PTCAN) Program is a grant-funded project that is scheduled to end on 9/30/2028 with the possibility of an extension. The University of Houston-Downtown's goal is to have students certified and ready to accept a teaching job before they graduate so they can be placed in a classroom. The U.S. Department of Education Title V grant is being led by Dr. Elizabeth Stackhouse. The grant will be allocated over five years and will be used to better assist students with wrap-around services, continuing UHD's “Pathways to Teaching in Critical Areas of Need” program.
This position may be eligible for Hybrid Work, working remotely for up to two days per week after the initial 90 days of employment.
Salary Range: $47,731/year or higher, commensurate with experience and/or education
JOB SUMMARY
The Program Coordinator provides operational and administrative oversight to a program in the University. The Program Coordinator administers programs to ensure that implementation and prescribed activities are carried out in accordance with specified objectives. The Program Coordinator coordinates functions related to recruitment, marketing, partnerships, program accreditation, strengthening relationships, event programming and in some cases fundraising.MARGINAL DUTIES
