Operator 1 (Finance)
Primary Purpose:
Serve as an entry level operator in the movement and storage of all products within the terminal, pipeline and right-of-way.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Education:
• High School Degree or equivalent
Experience / specific knowledge:
• Through successful work history, demonstrate the ability serve as an entry level operator to safely and efficiently transfer products in railcar, truck, vessel and tank operations.
Competencies, skills, and abilities:
• Good oral and written communications.
• Basic computer skills (send and receive email, perform inventory accounting, and enter repair work orders)
• Ability to successfully complete pre-employment drug screen and background check upon job offer.
• A driving history satisfactory with Company's standards, as well as it's insurers.
• Ability to obtain and maintain TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) as issued by DHS.
Physical demands:
•While performing the duties of this job, the incumbent may be required to stand; walk, sit, ascend/descend stairs; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch; talk or hear. The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Working conditions:
•Work rotating shift schedules in a terminal that operates 24/7, and be available for call-out and overtime.
•Tasks are performed indoors and outdoors in all types of weather conditions.
