O&M Technician - Part-time (Finance)

What would you be doing at Woodard & Curran?
Woodard & Curran is growing, and we are looking for a qualified O&M Technician near Groveland, Florida! If you enjoy working outdoors protecting nature's precious resource, water, then this position is for you. The O&M Technician will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the F.O.G. Fats Oils and Grease receiving unit "Greasezilla". Candidates must utilize mechanical/pumping equipment repair skills and have experience with electrical systems to provide maintenance and repair as needed to the unit and facility. In addition, the technician will be required to respond to emergency situations and work in inclement weather as needed. The F.O.G. receiving unit utilizes a Screening mechanism, Equalization tanks, and Boiler System to treat all waste that comes into the facility. The technician must have a good understanding of how to operate and maintain a mechanical unit that processes F.O.G. utilizing decanting techniques and a boiler system that utilizes high heat for grease separation.
