Maintenance Planner (Grangeville) (Maintenance)
Idaho Forest Group is currently seeking a Maintenance Planner to join our Grangeville team.
Plan and coordinate all maintenance activities including scope of work, safety considerations, materials, labor and time estimates. Manage the CMMS maintenance work order system.
Essential Functions:
- Plan and coordinate maintenance projects using industry specific computerized maintenance software
- Generate Work Orders from Work Requests and enter into the CMMS Dynastar Maintenance System
- Maintenance scheduling for Millwrights, Electricians, Oiler and contractor resources to insure completion of PM's
- Plan and schedule preventative, predictive and corrective maintenance.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics and computer-generated reports
- Communicate and coordinate with the purchasing department for parts purchasing and inventory
- LEAN Management
- Budgeting
- Work with Purchasing Coordinator on setting the min/max levels for critical parts
- Consistently work at acceptable production levels
- Other duties as needed

Qualifications:
- Three years of maintenance background required
- Advanced computer skills including MS Excel and previous experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (Dynastar) preferred
- Ability to use and read blueprints
- Must understand and follow plant safety procedures, be self-motivated and able to work in fast-paced team environment
- High School Diploma or GED
- Sawmill or manufacturing experience preferred
- Three or more years of maintenance planning experience preferred
- Valid Driver's License
- Pass a drug, physical, and background check
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit and/or stand for shift, reach with hands and arms, stoop, squat, bend at the waist, kneel, walk varying distance, and climb stairs. Must be able to tolerate all weather elements, loud conditions, airborne particles (sawdust).
